@JamesCridland @debritz ‘Re-heated radio’ is a great term for it! There’s a huge and very positive difference when content is podcast-first.

As a part of my PhD project on open tech podcasting, recently I had the privilege of interviewing @jsnell about his personal experience as an independent writer and podcaster.

Hi, @ethan_reimann! My name’s Martin and I’m from Australia. I came across your YouTube video about iWeb, which I found very nostalgic, then looked at the rest of your channel—fantastic stuff. I just have to say it’s great to see young creators like you on the Web. Keep it up! 👍

@Inrumpo @JamesCridland @junkee You make an excellent point. 👍

If you’re interested, I’m exploring this exact idea of open production and delivery through RSS on my podcast @rsspod_net, with tech shows as case studies. What are we losing if more things become exclusive?

This was already an awesome book; it’s cool to see updates! twitter.com/shrineofapple/…

@dariodoubleL This is one of my absolute favourite films and I’m thrilled to see any mention of it in my Twitter feed.

@macgreg @TextExpander That sounds über-annoying! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to use the umlaut.)

@jsnell @gruber Yep, that was it! Ferrite by @wooji is a great tool and I loved the whole thing about the email exchange.

Anyway, enjoy your day! 😀

@jsnell @gruber As a nerdy researcher of tech podcasts, I really appreciated the excellent pre-show on this week’s member episode of @_upgradefm. Great stuff! ⭐️

@shelly Thanks for following back! Have a great day. 😀

@moment My go-to lens lately has been the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F4-5.6 R. It’s very versatile and I love the shallow depth of field that it provides when taking family portrait shots from afar at maximum zoom.

(By the way, it’d be cool to see Olympus gear on your store!) t.co/B4UOsfULD…

@Alcedine @Apple You’re right that the main issue is the time it takes, rather than the change in the action. I wonder if they thought there were too many accidental triggers, although that never happened to me.

16 Nov 2022

Yes! I’m not sure why @Apple felt the need to undo around seven years of muscle memory with something that’s slower… twitter.com/BasicAppleGuy/…

I am incredibly excited about this! twitter.com/wooji/status/1…

@Andrewsalvati Write scripts after any interviews have been conducted, so that participants direct the narrative of the podcast, rather than the other way around. Be a guide for guests and listeners, not a director.
