This is an awesome show and @AppleTVPlus is killing it with the transmedia accounts to support it. twitter.com/AppleTVPlus/st…

@gruber @discord With the Final Cut example, I don’t mean to suggest that Apple’s software is perfect, but I think that people who complain about it often forget just how much more slick and quick it is than others’ alternatives.

17 Mar 2022

@gruber @discord You’re exactly right. I launch things like Final Cut Pro, running a project from an external SSD, and I think WOW. The speed in dealing with huge files is unbelievable. Then I open something like Microsoft Teams or another chat service (website or app) and think WHY?!

17 Mar 2022

@jasondcurry YES! That raises a lot of questions! Fascinating scene

@gruber @discord I’m sorry to hear that you have the same struggles, John, but I’m relieved to know that I’m not the only one! I think the frustration comes from realising that these are such wonderfully powerful tools for communication, which are held back by their design and implementation.

I love @discord but I have to say that it would be far superior on the #Mac if they were to make a native app for it. General design and interface elements aside, every time I open it, I’m greeted by a longer loading time and repetitive bars that show updates auto-downloading.

@BasicAppleGuy It stumps me how @Apple would rather kill the product than just reduce it slightly in cost again, or even bundle two in a box to make it a more affordable stereo pair—it could have been a fantastic way of selling easy home theatre with Apple TV for @AppleMusic and @AppleTVPlus.

Yep, this sums it up perfectly. Walking through this building always reminded me of the endless corridors in The Matrix Reloaded. twitter.com/ElliaNoblett/s…

If you’re not watching #Severance, then you should be. 🙂 We discuss the show on the latest episode of #HemisphericViews. (Of course, there’s the usual silliness on the #podcast too!) twitter.com/HemisphericPod…

It’s a fun process and good to share with @andrewcanion. We take turns, so you’ll hear his handiwork in episode 051! 🙂 twitter.com/HemisphericPod…

@KateMfD Thanks for sharing this! It’s always nice to see BCM tweets in my feed; podcast recommendations are also welcome. Nice one, @McCredieAbby!

@scottyujan I’m not sure if you saw my email or if it went to junk, but I wrote to you about wanting to buy one of these from you (if you’re willing)! 🙂

02 Mar 2022

@scottyujan @duetdisplay This is brilliant.

@gruber Agree—such a wonderful movie. I saw it with my wife at the cinema while on holidays and was a blubbering mess as we walked through the rest of the shopping centre after it finished.

@GelatoMessina Hi, Messina team! Hope you’re having a lovely Sunday. Sorry to bother, but I’ve sent you an email about my order no. f4c-92c, about an issue with product personalisation within a promotional deadline. Just don’t want it to slip by before it’s too late… thanks! 🙂

25 Feb 2022

@harpyd04 Like I said, a supportive listenership! 😀

24 Feb 2022

@amicusadastra Now this is a really great one.

24 Feb 2022

In producing this #podcast, I’ve made two great friends in my co-hosts @andrewcanion and Jason Burk, plus many more in our wonderful, supportive listenership. To mark this milestone, we aimed to get to know each other better by sharing some old stories and our biggest influences. twitter.com/HemisphericPod…

@zcichy Bleak, unsettling and thought-provoking!

@hotdogsladies Gorgeous!!! Also, the app’s ML Super Resolution feature feels like it came straight out of Blade Runner—ZOOM, ENHANCE.
