Day three of a challenge by
@GivernyW to post the covers of seven books that I love: no explanations, no reviews—just the cover. With each post, I’ll ask a friend to take up the challenge (no pressure at all). One book cover a day for a week.! Today, I nominate @Chundles. t.co/2zg6gcqqy…

Today I’m at Macquarie University in Sydney to support my wife, who’s here with her students for a national robotics competition. So many children!!! Also, I wouldn’t say that the campus is as nice as the University of Wollongong’s but they’ve done a … martinfeld.micro.blog/2018/12/08/tod…

@kenjerskip @backlon It just seems like many companies don’t really care…
Wooo @jsnell! More complications for the Infograph face! Finally! Being able to tap on Messages couldn’t come soon enough. #watchOS
@KateMfD @francesbell @GivernyW Books are certainly more than just objects. A book has to be really bad for me to be able to get rid of it. Very attached

@jamietarabay Great article… the revolving door of Australian leadership continues to be embarrassing.
@viticci @timlockridge @derekvan This is an awesome chapter on your work. You should be proud!
@francesbell It’s incredibly frustrating. At least it sends a message to the organisation that users won’t tolerate poor data security. If we’re unhappy, we’ll leave.
@francesbell Thanks for sharing that! I didn’t even hear about it and have now done the same.
@KateMfD @francesbell @GivernyW What a great idea! I look forward to seeing the others. :)
@dmoren @caseyliss @angelofioren @BrianHastie Get rid of those sideburns!
Another interesting @macstoriesnet piece… some people disregard the #HomePod but my goodness, having a stereo pair at home is brilliant. The sound is awesome and speech recognition across the room is impressive. twitter.com/viticci/status…
I love writing on #iPadPro and this is a fantastic list of helpful keyboard shortcuts. #iOS twitter.com/viticci/status…
@backlon To me, the extra issue is all of the polystyrene foam that comes in them. After recent furniture purchases, I had a heap of reinforced cardboard with needless packaging foam stuffed inside. Surely we’re past this horrible material! :/
@nickpmclaren I’ve noticed the same thing here and there. I hope that even if they’re not being used frequently yet, people will start to recognise that the stations are available and consider buying an electric car. No need for range anxiety! :)
@anujtaxali @noelc @maacpiash @backlon In Australia, people tend to default to iMessage if on iPhone but unfortunately (in my opinion) lots of people then rely on Facebook Messenger.
@ecormany I really relate to this. It’s one of the reasons that I reduced my following list considerably.
