@JeffBenjam In Australia, there’s long been a car model called the XR6. You can imagine how I read that when I see it on the road now.

@noelc @backlon Excellent point! Yes, profit margin is the big motivator for Apple and that’s a big factor that we shouldn’t forget.

Last night, I had the pleasure of seeing #MichaelPalin live at the @Enmore_Theatre in #Sydney. I wrote some thoughts on the show, the man’s great work with Monty Python and more. ‘Others Palin Comparison’ – Lounge Ruminator loungeruminator.net/2018/12/06/oth…

@backlon Bringing iMessage to Android is a great idea to extend Apple’s reach and make things easier for users. That being said, certain features would have to remain iOS-only to keep platform stickiness. If any compromises were made to accommodate Android I would be deeply disappointed.

@bzamayo @gruber A really great piece and it’s all so true. I do hope that a year of mucking around post-announcements will bring many more improvements. Change on the Mac is good but not if it looks purely like this.

@bzamayo @gruber To me, the more annoying part of News on the Mac is how the space in/around articles remains white even when dark mode is on.

@gruber I thought that it was odd! Yes, I was one of those home page refreshers. Now all of our Christmases have come at once, in the form of articles.
