@natashakandilas Hahahahaha thank goodness that it’s not the default.
@natashakandilas @jodiefeld I’m not sure if you know already but Ron Howard directed ‘Solo’. This has made me even more keen to see it… interesting to see how he might have influenced the film after he picked up the project from the original directors!
@MichaelSteeber Wooo! I eagerly await the surprise. 👍🏽

@adamliaw …the pricey vintage of course being a ’40 year-old virgin’.
@BigZaphod I have that exact thought all the time, even when I’m given a spoon with a cup of coffee. :/ It can only be good for the immune system, I suppose.

@gruber I’m always intrigued by your baseball discussions on ‘The Talk Show’. Could you explain to this ignorant Australian what is so unifying or exciting about baseball to Americans? Thanks! 🙂
@natashakandilas I thought that you’d like them!
@KateMfD @KrisChristou That would be too much effort to write. 🙂
@KrisChristou @KateMfD I believe that collaboration between academia and business is incredibly important but not to the point that business directs and distorts the purpose of education.
@KrisChristou @KateMfD Unpaid internships can be very beneficial — I did two myself — however I think that they often border on exploitation and also foster the idea that they are a necessary enhancement for a university degree.
@KateMfD We live in a world of painful outcomes and box-ticking. Education is now a means to an end rather than a way of being and thinking. :(
@endlessnoodling I think that it should certainly have a bigger presence in schools but I also think that it’s a bit of an obsession at the moment. I’d like to see more of a focus on language and history, but that’s my bias.
