@nicolasmagand @halidecamera Now that I can shoot them with my phone, yes indeedy! ❤️

@tvaziri @salthegeek You’re right about that. We regularly turn on subtitles for certain American film and TV, not because we can’t understand accents, but it’s often hard to understand dialogue over the louder music. We haven’t had the same issue with Australian and English content, for example.

@nicolasmagand @halidecamera Well, I think that it turned out beautifully even without the DSLR. I’ve really been enjoying @halidecamera’s new Macro Mode on my iPhone 12 mini as well; it’s almost like having a new phone or camera. Here are some examples! t.co/ffGmank51…

@nicolasmagand @halidecamera @TouchRetouch The shift from green to red as you move up the image is lovely.

@georgeharito @NanoRaptor Haha yes! It’s fine to mispronounce things the first time or if you don’t know, but its the insistence of some that’s frustrating.

@KateMfD You can be certain that I unsubscribed from these updates; in the feedback form that followed, I made sure to mention the irony of checking my well-being (among a deluge of emails) by sending me another email.

I’m flabbergasted that we’ve reached 40 #podcast episodes. This time, @andrewcanion has some important questions about pencils, Jason remembers how much he loves editing audio and I make a big decision after opening an envelope. Also we travel through time (kinda)! Have a listen! twitter.com/HemisphericPod…

@tpoell @politybooks Congratulations on the new book! I’m very interested to read this but for some reason in the checkout process at Wiley, it doesn’t present an option to select Australia in the country list—only other nations in Asia. Is shipping to Australia unavailable? t.co/Kfkq8Ckot…

Before our new episode comes out today, check out this wonderful bit of ‘virtual tourism’ by co-host @andrewcanion. Yay #Perth! twitter.com/HemisphericPod…

@danbenjamin To me, this just proves that podcasts maintain the values of a more open Web.

@KateMfD Wow… that verb leaves a very strong mental image.

@KateMfD I think this realises the full meaning of ‘resources’ in ‘human resources’.

19 Oct 2021

@KateMfD Thanks for sharing that!

@nicolasmagand Oh good memory! Very nostalgic

@nicolasmagand Yep, you’re right! AirPods are so popular now that they have earned top billing.

19 Oct 2021

@nicolasmagand That’s quite a big deal. Good pick-up!

Yep, this is what I saw every single day at primary school too. ☺️ twitter.com/uni_ame/status…

Hmmmm… I’d say that this still looks better than most new displays (from any company) today. twitter.com/InfiniteLoopX/…

In our latest #podcast episode, @andrewcanion welcomes his son David for a chat about TV show #DetectiveConan, Jason ponders the world of foldable phones (like the Samsung Z Flip) and I inflict a cruel typing test on my co-hosts. Follow the link below to listen. 🙂 twitter.com/HemisphericPod… t.co/5HWGvz5Tz…

Making this #podcast with friends @andrewcanion and Jason Burk (whom I met on the wonderful @microdotblog) is a true joy. We have a great time discussing media, #technology and amusing cultural differences. If you have a moment this #InternationalPodcastDay, give it a go! 🙂 twitter.com/HemisphericPod…
