@QueensDroneAge I would welcome it for consistency and compatibility but it seems wasteful to kill a whole ecosystem of hardware accessories… way more than what we ever had with the 30-pin connector!
@JamesCridland I think this is the new reality we have to deal with when using wireless earbuds by smartphone makers. I’ve seen articles from tech publications that suggest taking earbuds from one brand to work with another is almost guaranteed to be problematic, or at least missing features.
@mat_hills I generally avoid trailers but I’m so beyond excited for this that I couldn’t resist. Thrilled to see what they do with the franchise after 18 years!

I’m not sure if this is something that’s fixed in iOS and iPadOS 15, but I’d love to see @Apple fix the placement of the number/punctuation and emoji keys. I frequently press on the wrong one between my iPhone keyboard and my iPad’s floating version, as the placement is swapped. t.co/QtmcDNrNN…
