@natashakandilas No doubt about it!!!
@tiffarment My wife @natashakandilas (who’s a primary school teacher) recommends Book Creator for iPad. Apparently kids love it and there are a few ways to export the file for sharing or printing. š apps.apple.com/au/app/book-crā¦
@natashakandilas Haha thatās why I love it!

In my first written rumination for 2021, naturally I had to whinge about something related to #coffee. āļø twitter.com/LoungeRuminatoā¦
@sharped Also I had never thought about the recurring use of war themes and metaphors; their combination with the New-Age vibe is really bizarre.
@sharped @KateMfD @_tonyshannon @consultmel @andrewcanion What an absolutely fantastic article⦠thanks for sharing it! I love the use of the term āgarbage languageā to describe these words and although the author is right to say that theyāre in you once you hear them, I certainly do everything in my power not to submit to them.
Keen to try a new #podcast in 2021? Before new @HemisphericV episodes come out, catch up on our last one, in which we cover New Year themes, #AppleFitness+ and Media Corner, with an amusing story about @andrewcanion’s imaginary Italian yacht. @dariodoubleL I agree that the curiosity about Baby Yoda and its cuteness is all that keeps me going with the series. Episodes that return to that narrative are good; others feel a bit like filler.
@mchughsiobhan This really is classic. Most of the podcasts that I listen to are extended and conversational but the level of effort that goes into the editing is very noticeable. Structure and narrative flow are important!
Woo! Happy to have @LoungeRuminator listed š #podcasting twitter.com/cheryanne/statā¦

@dariodoubleL Keen to hear what you think over time!
@aeberbach Haha youāve done it again!
@dariodoubleL While a different sci-fi, on hype I have mixed feelings about The Mandalorian. Not sure if youāve seen it… a visual feast but Iāve heard from friends who love it (and never watched films) and think itās an amazing new thing just because of the Western style (Westworld, anyone?)
@dariodoubleL I completely understand! Hype changes things and yes, Tenet was not as I expected. Itās perhaps the first English-language film that has ever required subtitles for those without hearing difficulties.
@aeberbach HAHA love it… every Australian family should have one.
@dariodoubleL I recall your earlier piece about 100 sci-fi films that are better than Interstellar and although I really enjoyed the film (IMAX Berlin helped!), I do prefer others in the genre. Whatās the main thing that bothers you about the movie? š
