@PaulLev You raise a great point about the presence of cameras. I loved the sequel but am always fascinated about what such guests/participants/subjects think the purpose of their appearance is—especially the conspiracy theorists.

@andrewcanion Phew! We can still be friends. 😀
I was surprised at just how much I enjoyed this sequel after the brilliant original, so here’s a podcast about it. Chenqui. twitter.com/LoungeRuminato…
@mchughsiobhan Thank you and all the best for your next chapter! 😀💯
In iChunes on #HemisphericViews, @andrewcanion shares his experience with Apple Watch Series 6, Jason gets excited for iPhone 12 mini and I rave about HomePod. We also kick off our Media Corner segment and discuss Australian views on Halloween. 🎙 #podcast listen.hemisphericviews.com/004
@cydaedalus Certainly nostalgic for me!
@srecnig HAHAHA love it! Haven’t heard that in a while…
@scottperezfox Cool! Do you remember which computer you played it on?
If you’ve listened to our #HemisphericViews podcast and you own an #AppleWatch, it’s your lucky day! Co-host Jason Burk has made and shared a customisable HV watch face. 😂 Here it is in action. micro.burk.io/2020/10/21/why… t.co/XIvuibpAs…
@killvore @DevonRuhl @siracusa Brilliant! That’s the one. I was in a state of constant enjoyment and stress as I played that.
@DevonRuhl @siracusa YES!!! Thank you for that. I may have it in a stack of old discs but I couldn’t remember what it was… thank you. I loved the Classic Mac OS era as a kid and have lots of fond gaming memories… Myst, The Descent, Star Wars stuff, it goes on… 😀
@siracusa I remember learning the word ‘pleb’ from an empire-building game (forgot which one) on my family’s Power Macintosh in the 1990s. I was five at the time and it kept yelling, ‘MORE PLEBS ARE NEEDED!’. I had no idea what it was talking about.
In our upcoming episode of #HemisphericViews, we kick off a new ‘Media Corner’ segment! Consider it a multimedia version of a book club, where we each bring something different to the table. Keep an eye/ear out for it later today, both here and at hemisphericviews.com. 🎙😀 t.co/lck1aCL3A…
It was painful to listen to but this makes it better. twitter.com/backlon/status…
@KateMfD Hahaha I laughed aloud as I read through the whole thing. Thanks for sending this! HORSE DETECTION! 😂
Pure gold by @gruber twitter.com/daringfireball…
@gruber Great discussion about Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ by @Cinematologists: youtube.com/watch?v=CM-Ixa…
@gruber A fantastic recent episode of The Talk Show—a standout (even though I enjoy all of them)! I loved the variety of chat including the watch, speculation about behind-the-scenes decision-making and the opening about Zoom, Skype, etc. Very relatable!
After reading more about #autoethnography for my research into podcasting, I thought that I’d try my own narrative! This episode covers my experience in learning German, linking back to my ancestors Ludwig and Elisabeth (below) through to experiences at school and uni. twitter.com/LoungeRuminato… t.co/4VwCE44YD…
This time on #HemisphericViews, Jason, @andrewcanion and I were thrilled to welcome @macgenie of @microdotblog to discuss the site’s upcoming photo challenge, the oldest things in our homes and which of our many media services we will keep. Have a listen! listen.hemisphericviews.com/003
@drneilfox @dariodoubleL Convinced and now a subscriber :)
@ReneeMiddlemost Cheese toast was king.
@macgenie Thanks, Jean! As always, I have people like you to thank (within the broader tech blog/podcast sphere) for sharing info and learning new skills.
It has been a pleasure to develop this new podcast with my team! We kick things off with an intro episode and three stories, so far about people working for the company in the US and city of #Wollongong in Australia. More to come! twitter.com/BlueScope/stat…
