@waallaby Congratulations!

@nate Teams is also a power-draining Electron mess that frequently slows my computer—a machine that is more than capable of running Final Cut Pro without a hitch.

@andrewcanion That bad?! We do need to have the mouse chat soon…

28 Sep 2020

@andrewcanion You truly are the king of kings! m.youtube.com/watch?v=hKu0TV… (reference relevant at 1:06, haha)

@aeuritt Danke fürs Folgen! Keen to hear more about your book too! 😀

Thank you to @KateMfD and @CL_Moore for encouraging me to get into #podcasting. In this brief episode, I reflect on a year of developing my skills in recording and editing. twitter.com/LoungeRuminato…

I could not agree with this more. Being mindful generally requires a step away from digital technology. It’s like ‘wellness consultants’ conducting mindfulness and meditation sessions over video calls—simply ridiculous. twitter.com/amicusadastra/…

@NuriaMasso Oooooh yes I adore the music… I play it a bit too much perhaps, haha. My wife is subjected to it often! Ha

This time on #HemisphericViews, we chat about fires in US and AUS, trying to send money digitally, cool things from the latest #Apple event and tech that we’re interested in but haven’t yet tried. We even get into discussing coins—check it out! 🎙 listen.hemisphericviews.com/002 #podcast

@NuriaMasso It’s hard to decide on one but aside from the finale, which is perfect in my mind, I love the final episode of season three.

22 Sep 2020

@NuriaMasso Haha I’d answer pretty much exactly the same way as you! Moments that reveal more of the Cylons are great and the two-part episodes suck me right in. I do really love the segments that involve visions of the opera house and when they hear fragments of ‘All Along the Watchtower’.

21 Sep 2020

@NuriaMasso Could you pick a favourite episode?

Rocky loves hanging out with me while I enjoy my morning coffee. t.co/62Zj5cUzN…

@sharped @ThomsonPat This is a wonderful post! Thank you for sharing it David! I really like the idea of finding the best times and other places to write. I’m getting there but as you would know, things always arise.

14 Sep 2020

@sharped Thanks for the retweet, David! 😍

13 Sep 2020

@lukebuckmaster Gladly… and done! Looking forward to the newsletter!

11 Sep 2020

@sheilmcn @KateMfD The music, the mythology, the impressively diverse cast (for the time)… the best!

11 Sep 2020

@KateMfD @sheilmcn Revisiting that show has been my COVID-time outlet when not working… wonderful!

11 Sep 2020

@maddiepalmer Yes, absolutely! Music ends up just being more stimulus and you have to make a choice of what to listen to, when silence and a retreat from media are what you need.

11 Sep 2020

@drneilfox @Cinematologists @dariodoubleL No worries! You both do wonderful work and have been super-helpful with my own early research. Keep it up!!!

11 Sep 2020

@Cinematologists @dariodoubleL @drneilfox Finally got to sit down and enjoy this. I love the part about Nolan being the ‘philosopher king’ of mainstream cinema and 100% agree about the difficulty in hearing what is being said.

I must add that among many tasks, Jason did a terrific job of putting the website together and Andrew wrangled with some technical issues to edit the first episode. We’re learning! Thank you to @microdotblog for introducing me to these guys. 😀

11 Sep 2020

I’m excited to share that I’ve started a new #podcast with friends @andrewcanion and Jason Burk, called Hemispheric Views! Check out the first episode: ‘Tim Tam Slams!’. (Yes, there’s tech chat but we also tackle the big issues, like how to eat Vegemite.)
