@andrewcanion Positive or negative sentiment?
@andrewcanion Well done on your continuing spontaneous conversations with strangers (hopefully welcomed)! What was the main topic of discussion?
@andrewcanion Just come to Wollongong instead.
@AlexCox I can really relate to this, as I was seven at the time! The lightsaber duels were also jaw-dropping.
@CraigGrannell @NetNewsWire I absolutely agree that more people should use RSS and I am also a big fan of @NetNewsWire. If you’re interested and have a moment, check out my podcast @rsspod_net, which supports my PhD research on the value of open RSS in tech podcasting. Thanks!
As a little way of celebrating 20 years of RSS, listen to the latest episode of #ReallySpecificStories, which features back-end developer, keyboardist, ‘occasional’ music writer and @coreint listener, Leon Mika!

@Chundles A sad reality—I think you’re right!
@endlessnoodling Fair enough! 🙂 I enjoy his dramatic tech soliloquies. 😂
@Chundles I do wonder if the event will lead people to rethink navigating the city. Although I’m grateful for modern convenience, I resent having to own a car.
A new, blissful quietness falls over the streets of our city with UCI #Wollongong2022, as the cyclists train on the first day of the event. Imagine if this lack of cars could be permanent. t.co/iGvFwUgtl…
Big milestone, great podcast twitter.com/atpfm/status/1…
@QueensDroneAge Awesome! Well done!
I’m very pleased with this accidental vertical arrangement of some recent pics on my @tryglass profile. 😂 Anyway, if you’re into taking photos, you should try the app. 👍
@KateMfD Thank you! Qualitative storytelling wins for me.

@danielpunkass I agree that it’s fascinating.
As an Australian who must accept (for now) that our head of state is a foreigner whose institutions have caused misery for First Nations, I’m not thrilled about it, although I appreciate Apple’s (and others') general respect for her as a person.
@JoshuaWithers I think they’re a double-edged sword: each pre-recorded keynote is a super-impressive and entertaining production with top-class videography, but you lose the sense of pace, pause and liveness that came with onstage events. (I think the real plus is diversity of people though.)
Back on @tryglass and loving it! 😀 #photography glass.photo/martinfeld/6hm…
@dariodoubleL Oh cool! I saw all the seats overhead and thought, ‘That looks swish’.
@dariodoubleL Looks cool, but what is it like in practice? Is comfortable, noisy, airy?
@NanoRaptor Absolutely awesome!
I had the pleasure of chatting with @danielpunkass on #ReallySpecificStories. In this episode, he shares experiences from @coreint, asserts the importance of feeds and considers his own personas across the Web.

Awesome—beyond watching the films, my childhood involved staring at the VHS covers for quite some time. 😂 twitter.com/DrewStruzan/st…
@natashakandilas @mattokine @triplej I second this! Our son, Mac, is 16 months old and does all the specified moves. ‘Nose poke’ is a favourite, I think. 😂
@KateMfD ‘Filth’?!
