@Lang44rd Sometimes he walks fast, sometimes slow, don’t ask which he prefers, it’s very personal. He likes both equally.

I’d love all of this; @jsnell knows what he’s talking about. iPadOS 14 wish list: Plenty of room for improvement | Macworld macworld.com/article/354580…

@Lang44rd Tremendous, there’s never been another walker like him.

@ChrisComerford3 Loving these BSG-related posts… excellent!

@abottomley I appreciate your interest! I’m exploring the connection between niche tech podcasts and media ecology. I’m doing it part-time and am still in the early literature review stage. 😀 There’s a bit more info here: loungeruminator.net/research/

@abottomley Thanks for following back! I’ve been enjoying some of your podcasting literature in my early research. Congratulations on your new book as well.

I absolutely love SwitchGlass and am happy to see it receive consistent, useful updates. If you haven’t tried it, give it a go. Also, some thoughts on the app and (its companion) Front and Center here: loungeruminator.net/2020/02/23/app… 😀 #Mac #macOS #apps twitter.com/siracusa/statu…

This week @andrewcanion joined me to discuss favourite computing memories, touch-typing and how we chose #Mac as the hub of our digital lives. It was a lot of fun to record! Listen @ApplePodcasts (tinyurl.com/y9zutojv) or @OvercastFM (overcast.fm/+UVnJaQJ3Q) 🎙 #podcast #tech t.co/13YqHjATQ…

This is one of the best podcasts around and always sits around the top of my queue. Check it out (along with other shows) @_RelayFM. twitter.com/macgreg/status…

@quentinnield @JamesCridland Nice! I’m pretty sure that trackpad support was added recently too, so you can edit podcasts with a pointer, the Pencil or your fingers. It’s maintained really well and the features for silence-removal and chapter artwork are also really handy.

29 May 2020

@JamesCridland @quentinnield I use the same app for mine. It’s brilliant!!! Using the Apple Pencil to edit is quite fun too.

29 May 2020

@endlessnoodling No worries, I’ll have to explore!

29 May 2020

@endlessnoodling I never had the chance to hear that! Thanks for mentioning it. 😀 Do you know if it’s still accessible?

29 May 2020

@gruber @daringfireball Absolutely agree! I’ve made a habit of it. I suppose that others aren’t as agreeable or compliant, so perhaps that’s why.

29 May 2020

@daringfireball Interesting time lapse, @gruber… what I find bizarre is the inconsistency at different businesses, at least in Australia. Supermarkets have barriers at check-outs and staff won’t touch your reusable bags or pack them, but will touch products that you’ve handled to scan them.

If this report is accurate, then I’m speechless… also, great timing for #NRW2020. Are we all really #InThisTogether? twitter.com/patrickkeneall…

29 May 2020

I’m a huge fan of #Dithering and am glad to see it appearing in my feed each week. The casual 15-minute format on #tech + #media is great. For many, it may seem odd to pay for a #podcast but it’s worth it to receive such easily-digestible, high-quality discussion. Check it out! twitter.com/ditheringfm/st…

Great point on #podfestlive… also I liked the idea that Joe Rogan’s podcast is actually ‘a TV show that is also in audio form’. Having cameras present does indeed change the nature of the production. twitter.com/mdial/status/1…

29 May 2020

@JamesCridland Great conversation on #podfestlive! Thanks for the insights. 😀

26 May 2020

@chockenberry Yep, agreed. Personally, I like the feel of both menus when using a trackpad, however it is a bit jarring how they’re different.

26 May 2020

@chockenberry Of the two styles/implementations, which one would you keep?

25 May 2020

@jsnell @imyke Very keen to hear about this!

25 May 2020

@outtapez Oooooh I love a two-level effect with a little path right down the middle…
