I’m not aiming to start something here but as an Australian, I very much enjoyed your discussion about temperature scales and what feels right / matches weather, @gruber and @benthompson. I think that it comes down to what you grew up with. 😀

@lukebuckmaster Inception is probably his best, however I did see Interstellar at IMAX in Berlin and that was one of the most unforgettable cinematic experiences ever.

22 May 2020

@tedmitew Coinkydink! A short time before reading your tweet, I was reading an article by Gozzi, Jr. (2004) and he referred to this as the paradox of ‘premeditated spontaneity’.

Only Dr. Karl could fit meat pies and the Moon into one engaging, cohesive story, haha. #Wollongong #HomeDelivery twitter.com/BlueScope/stat…

22 May 2020

@JamesCridland Also, looking forward to hearing you speak at @podfestlive… should be good! 😀

22 May 2020

@JamesCridland @iandeeley Yep! It’s up to users and producers to keep things alive through RSS and maintain the open-community aspect, which unfortunately feels like a bit of a hopeful, utopian thought…

22 May 2020

@iandeeley @JamesCridland That’s right. Things could certainly better and the ‘open’ part is really RSS, however Apple has done a good job of keeping things stable with its directory, even if it was from disinterest or negligence.

Rocky has been the recipient of many head-scritches this morning. ❤️ #cockatiel t.co/fCB4hgo1O…

21 May 2020

@tuckerjj Oh yeah… the number of times that I’ve awoken on a workday and started a major update is ridiculous. NO PATIENCE!!!

21 May 2020

@gruber As an additional note about this episode, after recording it I was impressed to see your McLuhan reference on Daring Fireball: ‘the medium is the message’. I also happened to use it, given the connection to media ecology.

21 May 2020

@tuckerjj Yes, a good point… you made a very calculated decision quickly, by the sound of it!

21 May 2020

@podfestlive Big news indeed! Hmmm… once it becomes exclusive and is no longer open (through RSS) do we stop calling it a podcast? Instead does it become an ‘exclusive, on-demand digital audio interview show’ (EODAIS)?

21 May 2020

@tuckerjj That’s very brave…

In the latest episode of @LoungeRuminator, I discuss my research into tech #podcasting and #mediaecology, plus something that many people experience: bibliophilia. 🎙📚 Listen on…

21 May 2020

@dougthomas31 Very cool! I love dark modes for writing.

Listening to @atpfm with Broadcasts by @stroughtonsmith—simply excellent. It’s also great to hear about the guys' new website/CMS in the live stream. Such devotion to their open podcast archive and multiple clients. Well done! apps.apple.com/us/app/broadca…

@jsnell Thank you, Mr. Snell. You’re a champion.

21 May 2020

@julia_zemiro @DoctorKarl My pleasure!

21 May 2020

I was so grateful to be able to tag along for this recording at work on the day. @julia_zemiro and @DoctorKarl are genuinely lovely, authentic people. twitter.com/BlueScope/stat…

A wonderful episode of #HomeDelivery, @julia_zemiro and @DoctorKarl! Thanks for visiting #Wollongong! 😀

20 May 2020

@OkKelsea Haha no worries! I’ve suggested it to family members before who were really out of control and it helped them. Yep, at some point it just has to be cleared! 😀 I find that stacks in the dock are the best for quick folder access, not that the names are confusing haha.

20 May 2020

@OkKelsea Right-click on your desktop to ‘Use Stacks’ and it will group items by their file type and tidy things up for you. It’s a great feature. 😀

20 May 2020

@harmonygritz Haha nice representation! It also captures the cuteness and evil of cats perfectly.

19 May 2020

@MichaelSteeber Thanks! 😀 Yep, whatever products would benefit from being isolated from others—speakers, headphones, TV, etc.
