@MichaelSteeber In all seriousness, I think mini stores would work well for products like HomePod. Imagine a space where you could simply listen to it away from other product tables and classes and appreciate the audio quality, like a standalone version of what’s at the Fifth Avenue store.

@MichaelSteeber …but where will I buy an iPod now?!

19 May 2020

@imyke Very keen to hear your thoughts on Bueller on the next @_upgradefm! I’ve long thought that one of the best parts of the film is the gallery sequence with the instrumental version of ‘Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want’. What’s a favourite moment for you?

@KateMfD I’ve always been amused by the term ‘breakout room’. They’re always smaller than the normal room that you’re in (for whatever the main event is), so to me it seems like you’d actually want to break out of the breakout room.

@KateMfD A great piece! All that I could think of when I was reading it—particularly the parts about keeping the old ways going—was McLuhan’s ‘rear-view mirror’; people enter a new environment while looking back at or trying to replicate the preceding one.

@AlexCox Great show! It was always either lupus, lyme disease or sarcoidosis.

The last few mornings, I’ve walked past this ad out the front of the news-agency on my street and thought to myself, ‘That person looks like a fusion of @LaTrioli and @GladysB’. 😀 t.co/4W42V7olH…

@aeberbach Excellent choice

18 May 2020

@MalliardReport Personally I’m a big fan of @OvercastFM, but it’s great to have lots of choice in the podcasting arena! 😀

18 May 2020

@aeberbach Yay! What did you order on this momentous occasion?! 😀

18 May 2020

If you missed it last week on @LoungeRuminator, Natasha and I discussed some of our favourite #Seinfeld episodes and Costanza moments, in honour of the late #JerryStiller. Check out the #podcast episode! @ApplePodcasts: is.gd/iCKALJ @OvercastFM: overcast.fm/+UVnJiGbC4 t.co/wcfjTNRkw…

@Chundles I’ve really missed the act of simply sitting in a restaurant, so I completely understand.

@TwoPaddocks I watched #TheLeunigFragments last night and was pleasantly surprised to hear your voice in the narration of some older animated clips that were included. I think it’s fair to say that you are the AUS/NZ equivalent of Morgan Freeman—authoritative and soothing!

17 May 2020

@Chundles 😮😮😮 Hope it was enjoyable!!!

14 May 2020

@siracusa Great song! Also, ‘Black Cat’ is a good one.

14 May 2020

Inspired by @imyke’s recent, quirky tweet about how he ‘loves choice’ when computing, I wrote a quick piece on how I’ve extended my iPad Pro set-up since the release of pointer/cursor support. 😁 twitter.com/LoungeRuminato…

14 May 2020

@Fozbyte Well congratulations! That’s fantastic! You’re right about his tone and delivery too. He’s also great at adapting what is a well-established observational style to a new time with different situations.

14 May 2020

@Fozbyte @JerrySeinfeld Thanks so much!!! Yes, it is brilliant—Jerry is the master. Hope you’ve been well during these crazy times…

14 May 2020

@JasmineeMontana This is the same argument that is unravelled in ‘Bicentennial Man’ with Robin Williams. Although he has evolved to become organic, he his told that he is not human because he isn’t ‘part of the gene pool’.

14 May 2020

@JerrySeinfeld In all honesty, I wouldn’t be married if it weren’t for you and your show. Thanks a bunch! Also, #23HourstoKill is fantastic.

14 May 2020

@BennyJParkinson Couldn’t one argue that (as they are now organic) that they can degrade as regular humans do, even if they were intended to be superior from the outset? Cylons in BSG, although they reload if killed, are still made in the image of humans. Nothing is perfect, even if a ‘machine’.

14 May 2020

@syntheticjosh I loved this part of the film! Great song, very quirky and an eerie and familiar scene…

14 May 2020

@BennyJParkinson Time to start printing all of your photos!

14 May 2020

@jasmynconnell I’d say that we already are; it just isn’t in neon.
