@dougthomas31 Agreed! Whenever I have to deal with the ribbon in Microsoft Word, it feels a bit painful.

@mattcassinelli AWESOME! Cute photo!
Now that visiting restrictions have been relaxed a bit in New South Wales, my good friend Pete joined me on the rumination lounge to discuss the power that #music has to transport us to different times and places. Listen to the #podcast episode today! 🎙 🎶podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/24-…
@jsnell I just listened to the most recent @bleedsixcolors member podcast—great stuff, as usual! If you manage to get to Australia after this whole situation and you’re visiting Sydney, consider spending a day or two south of the city in Wollongong and/or Kiama. Lovely coast 😀
@dougthomas31 I meant to ask earlier but forgot: what do you enjoy most about iA Writer? 😀
@GR36 I think that those who get hung up on starting with conjunctions need to relax a bit, however there are more creative ways to begin a sentence, so it’s better to use something else.
@dougthomas31 Thank you for the kind shout-out! I appreciate it and really loved your book. All the best!
@JamesCridland You’re certainly not wrong. Burrowing down only one or two levels in settings, you’ll see old interface design and styles from previous versions. Zero effort there…
@nonstoptom Fantastic ‘Battle of the Duds’ episode of #HardQuiz last night… the first part of this podcast episode is a bit of a ‘thank you’ for how you made #TheLogies fun again last year.
@bodhi_todd @ChemistryNathan @UOW @CL_Moore It’s a great way of getting people to share ideas in their uni subjects!
@Seinfeld2000 This being said, although he technically made the right decision to end it on a high, I would love to see what would have happened in the show if JERY GOT iPAD.
In my latest episode of @LoungeRuminator, I ask: how many things that you enjoy have managed to end on a high? We explore Australian cultural cringe, a persistent #popculture icon and someone who quit at the right time. 🎙 #TheLogies #TheSimpsons #Seinfeld podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/lou…
@jasmynconnell If you haven’t seen it, make sure that you watch the two-part mini-series before seasons one through to four.
@jasmynconnell Now that I think of it, the reimagined Battlestar Galactica from 2003 has a range of very strong female characters—in government and the military—who frequently challenge their male partners and colleagues. It’s an awesome series. tv.apple.com/au/show/battle…
@tedmitew @tahl_g @NickChildsUOW They use the same idea in the reimagined Battlestar Galactica from 2003. All technology is sent backwards, including landline phones, so that the Cylons can’t tap into a network and corrupt systems.
@CL_Moore @angusVEVO Thank you for tolerating my presence! You need to stop choosing such good films.
@ChrisComerford3 @CallumHarvs @jasmynconnell Also, the music of Rob Dougan complements Don Davis and Juno Reactor perfectly. Seamless
#BCM325 For anyone who’s interested, two older, personal pieces on #TheMatrix… I’d love to discuss this trilogy more with you. 🙂 loungeruminator.net/2018/11/21/alm… | podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/lou…
@jasmynconnell @ChrisComerford3 @CallumHarvs Everything begins with choice..
@ChrisComerford3 @CallumHarvs @jasmynconnell Yes! Love the chateau scene! I agree that the sequels are great. For me, it’s the same as anything from Star Wars sequels/prequels to Quantum of Solace in 007. People love an original then imagine what comes next—invariably what comes does not match personal expectations.
@jasmynconnell I see this differently. She’s the ultimate hero of the film—the man couldn’t succeed without being saved by her.
@ChrisComerford3 @CallumHarvs @jasmynconnell I loved how dark it was! To me, the great thing about the trilogy is that the first film ends in a way that it can stand by itself. If you want to go further down the rabbit hole and add some extra-dark icing to the cake with the sequels, that’s your choice. 🙂
@tedmitew @ElenaTheNerd I like your theory about the Merovingian. It also supports why he looks so offended by Morpheus’s assertion in Reloaded about the importance of choice and his subsequent rebuttal about causality.
@endlessnoodling Haha that’s fair! My issues is that I saw myself in a few of them… I enjoy AeroPress, occasionally use a French press, turn up to things with iced lattes and also have Turkish coffee with my grandmother occasionally. Ich bin confused.
