@ljpuk That sounds cool! Is the plan to run through what people have on them?

Here’s a discussion of what it’s like to find your shows on #tvOS, inspired by the recent discussion in @_RelayFM’s show @macpowerusers. twitter.com/LoungeRuminato…

24 Mar 2020

@KateMfD Hmmm yes Zoom… a serious security issue on Macs last year too… it has been fixed now but not my favourite app!

24 Mar 2020

@outtapez @SHOKidding @JimCarrey @yodaveholstein No problem at all, I understood you! 😀 Thanks for your responses, well done again and awesome work to Dave on the whole concept too. If it does get renewed, you can be sure that I will be refreshing the app for new episodes over here in Australia.

24 Mar 2020

@outtapez @SHOKidding @JimCarrey @yodaveholstein Thrilled to hear there will be more, although the end of season two (as it is) could be one of the best endings to any show that I’ve ever seen. (You could end it there and I wouldn’t complain—so perfect!) The world needs more comedy like this. Sending love back to the falls!

Excellent #MontyPython reference to Michael Palin’s character at Swamp Castle in the latest episode of @macpowerusers, @hotdogsladies! 🤣

24 Mar 2020

‘Quotidian’: another useful (but less common) word from the @lookup_ios app, which will raise eyebrows if you use it in a quotidian fashion! Oh wait… t.co/UKhDL9QPH…

A current view of the desktop and Home screens! 📱🖥 feldnotes.com/screens/ #macOS #iPadOS #iOS

24 Mar 2020

@leotwemlow Hmmm I’d just go for it. The rumours are that COVID-21 is also already in development, so even if you wait, you’ll have to get the next one too.

24 Mar 2020

@stroughtonsmith I’m glad people are treating this fairly: both companies have their approaches. One thing that’s irked me a bit with the copying-Surface thing though is that Apple has offered more choice for longer in the form of two platforms. Keyboards have also never been foreign to iPad. 😀

@mindnode @rretsiem Das klingt toll, danke!

‘Supersymmetry’ by @arcadefire is such a perfect track—calming escapism. music.apple.com/au/album/super…

23 Mar 2020

We just finished watching the second season of @SHOKidding… serious congratulations to everyone who was involved in making the show. This is perhaps @JimCarrey’s best work—astoundingly good television. 🤯 #Kidding

23 Mar 2020

@rretsiem Vielen Dank für die Empfehlung und weitere Information! Vielleicht würde ich es nicht so viel wie dich benutze, aber es könnte nützlich für meine Recherche sein.

23 Mar 2020

@loving1975_ That’s very kind of you and (as you have already done in this case) I welcome any feedback. I’m a long-time podcast listener but fairly new to the production side. Have a great evening!

23 Mar 2020

@rretsiem Schöne Liste! Ich benutze gerne NetNewsWire und Twitterrific. Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Antwort ja lautet, aber denkst du, dass MindNode Pro die Abonnementgebühr wert ist?

23 Mar 2020

@loving1975_ That’s fantastic. I have come across a few discussions and stories over time about dedicated iPod enthusiasts, generally through other tech podcasters I follow. I really agree with your idea about avoiding distraction—music should be an escape!

23 Mar 2020

@loving1975_ Thank you very much for listening to the episode and taking the time to give some feedback! I’m glad that you enjoyed it—as well as the easter egg. 😀 Were you an avid iPod user yourself? Do you have any nostalgia for the product category?

23 Mar 2020

@maddiepalmer What about ‘Twister’ (1996) with Helen Hunt? It’s been a while since I saw it, so I’m not sure about the difficult man part.

This is a great comparison. The iMac G4 is still the most beautiful computer ever made. twitter.com/helvetiica/sta…

@tuckerjj Kids say some astounding things…

20 Mar 2020

@AE_Robbert Classic, no? Hahahahaha

20 Mar 2020

@AE_Robbert It’s a fair thing to say! My primary PhD supervisor sent me this amusing take on the same topic, after I started a podcast recently: twitter.com/KateMfD/status… (Fortunately, I can claim to having started it well before the outbreak and alongside study—although I am under 35.) 😂

20 Mar 2020

In my latest podcast episode, I discuss the value of silence in comedy—including @Downhill_Movie and the brilliant online TV efforts by @StephenAtHome—along with how we listen to music in urban spaces. #media twitter.com/LoungeRuminato…

20 Mar 2020

@viticci Fascinating! I love that you’re putting such effort into metadata; it drove me crazy when my library was inconsistent. If it’s of interest, I discuss the lasting effects of ‘iPod culture’ and listening in chapter 3 of the most recent episode of my podcast: podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/16-…
