@dmoren This happened to me with my old iPods the other day. 𤣠I ended up charging a bunch of things to see if they still worked and cables were everywhere.

@natashakandilas Haha yeah, youāre right.
This word, āspumeā sounds beautiful and disgusting at the same time. t.co/K47s6t2rR…
@Chundles Haha thatās how much I have…
Following my recent @LoungeRuminator podcast episode that touched on #RSS and included a discussion of @NetNewsWire, here is yet more evidence of the care and consideration that goes into the app. inessential: On Alternate App Icons for NetNewsWire for iOS inessential.com/2020/03/13/on_ā¦
@ericwelander @caseyliss @marcoarment @siracusa This is an excellent screenshot; I love the whole pre-iOS 7 vibe here.
@unread_app All good! Iāll have to try yours too! š
@NetNewsWire Not a problem! The app is a pleasure to use and more people need to use RSS.
@unread_app Of course! Iāve added you to the list and all the best with your app! š
@caseyliss Congratulations, by the way!

In my latest podcast episode, I discuss the value of #remotework and #flexibility, plus the enduring power of #RSS as an open, approachable way of consuming news (feat. a special mention of the wonderful app @NetNewsWire). š #podcasting #blogging #accessibility twitter.com/LoungeRuminatoā¦

@amicusadastra Go for it!
@lizzy_bridges @ElenaTheNerd This is one of the best moments of the whole show.
@amicusadastra I appreciate that explanation. I suppose that feeling of finality comes down to the fact that it’s written (literary)āsomething printed on a page feels like it has been concluded.
@amicusadastra I imagine that it would be difficult. Reading them, they seem so final and correctājust common senseābut to construct one would be a test.
@CL_Moore Totally agree! Anyway, I’ll stop distracting you now. Enjoy it and I hope that your students appreciate it.
@jack_ridoutt In portrait/square orientation too! :)
You may find this interesting as a fan of the film, @gruber! One of my uni supervisors, @CL_Moore, is live-tweeting a viewing of #2001ASpaceOdyssey with his students at the moment, using the class hashtag: #BCM325. twitter.com/CL_Moore/statuā¦
@CL_Moore Awesome! I showed my mum at her house and she wasn’t that engaged, but then took her and my sister to a 50th anniversary cinema session and she was blown away. She said a second viewing on a larger screen enhanced things and helped her to appreciate the visual design and score.
@CL_Moore Are you watching this in class today?! This is one of my favourite films and I have forced the family to sit through it.
@amicusadastra I like the fact that you use the word ‘obsession’ for yourself. I’ve often used it with regard to fandom (as a fan of things myself) and people often say, ‘That’s a bit of a negative word’. I don’t see it that way; I see it as being realistic and reflexive.
@amicusadastra Ah right! Thank you for that; I do recall hearing it now.
@amicusadastra Fascinating! The whole idea of obsolescing travel fascinates me the most at the moment… something that’s now taken for granted could be unravelled with one world event. Quick questionāwhich word starting with ‘F’ are you substituting for ‘reversal’? š
