@caseyliss Great chat on @_analoguefm about Griffith Observatory; I thought it was the best thing in all of LA: feldnotes.com/2020/01/15/las…. Also thanks to @imyke for confirming that tunnel is in ‘Back to the Future II’. While driving through it, I made the remark and meant to check!
I love my #HomePod pair and agree that software is better. Still, I only have the tap setting for Siri now—not always on—after the discovery about Apple’s audio and contractors. The policy might have changed but I reassessed my willingness to have an Orwellian presence at home. twitter.com/marcoarment/st…
It was great to chat with Greg on his podcast about Australia, blogging and technology. I appreciate the invitation to be on the show! 🎙😀 twitter.com/GR36/status/12…
This is brilliant. twitter.com/Variety/status…
Yes, I concur. @Twitter, your promoted content is infuriating and rarely has anything to do with topics that I follow or discuss. Consider changing your business model to promote genuine global discourse and connection rather than fuelling drama with ads to please Wall St. twitter.com/KateMfD/status…
@GR36 I really enjoy Apple Music but there is a part of me that still clings to this philosophy. Owning the files does feel nicer than paying purely for access.
@_Jordan It caught me for a sec too!
Being Australian, the funny thing about the Hyundai #SuperBowl ad is their Boston accents sound like really poor American attempts at Australian accents. We share the same lack of a rhotic ‘r’ pronunciation, so it’s strange to hear. Also, the Seinfeld thing below is great. 😂 twitter.com/hotdogtori/sta…
Haha ‘my wife’ and I both use that exact phrase in the relevant accent. twitter.com/jennyjaffe/sta…
@KateMfD So many memories in video shops! I loved them as a kid.
@aeberbach 😒 Ergh! What a pain…
@aeberbach Hmmm… do you have any idea of where you are in the queue?
Trying to spin big tech brands and George Orwell into a conversation with myself was good fun. twitter.com/LoungeRuminato…
@julia_zemiro Our pleasure!
@julia_zemiro It was really fantastic to meet you in Wollongong today—you’re a serious cultural asset. 😀 #douzepoints!
@KateMfD That’s very exciting and sad all at once. Best of luck to her with the move and hope it’s a great experience!
@ismh I paid for Apple News+ and loved using it; the content was fantastic. The only reason that I left was because I had too many subscriptions and already had things like Six Colors, Stratechery, etc. Naturally, independent writers won and deserve more support. I may return to it.
It was great fun editing this video; Zelko is a real character and very passionate about his work. twitter.com/BlueScopeJobsA…
@Chundles I saw Spider-Man there too!
@Chundles Haha looking back on that film, the drunk viewing might have been better…
Thank goodness! I’ve been waiting for this day; it was such a great #cinema. Let’s hope that it will be treated well. #Wollongong #Australia twitter.com/TimFernandezz/…
I loved the whole Dharma thing in Lost. Classic twitter.com/pm/status/1224…
Seeing this little Mac in my menu bar brings a smile to my face. Thank you, @siracusa! Front and Center is a very handy app. 😀 t.co/tx23sCTgv…
