@pierce They are quite satisfying to shots to view, however I’m curious about all of these people who aren’t wearing their watches…

@caseyliss Apple Maps was an absolute dream during our recent visit to the United States. Unbelievably good and the lights were a nice warning for someone like me, who was focused on driving on the other side of the road for the first time…

@amongthestones What have you learnt about Ottoman pirates?

30 Jan 2020

.@gruber is totally right about—hilarious. I continue to use @Twitterrific despite this; @Twitter could certainly learn from the example of services like @microdotblog by @mantonsblog, with great support for third-party apps like Icro and Gluon. twitter.com/gruber/status/…

For my recent trip to the US, I took a different approach to travel, inspired by advice from my PhD supervisor @KateMfD and the fantastic writing of @alaindebotton. Find out more in my linked podcast. twitter.com/LoungeRuminato…

26 Jan 2020

@endlessnoodling Yes, I agree that a lot of people aren’t even aware of the history and just enjoy a public holiday. I’d love to see 26 Jan turned into a day of respectful commemoration and reflection and then another new day for national, multicultural celebration.

26 Jan 2020

Well done to @NITV on some fantastic broadcasting this morning for #InvasionDay / #AustraliaDay: ‘Occupation Native’; NITV News; ‘You Are Here’… a lot of Australians could learn a lot from this great free-to-air channel by @SBS. #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe

@AlexCox The only ‘coin’ that I own is a kind of commemorative medallion that public schools gave to kids to celebrate Australia’s centenary of federation in 2001. 😀

What are your thoughts on milk left out on a hotel breakfast table like this, @siracusa? (For context, the room is not what I would describe as ‘cold’.) t.co/2VW0cnbj0…

@hotdogsladies Yes yes yes! Also, his soundtracks are awesome… ‘Never Look Away’ and ‘Ad Astra’ are brilliant.

@Chundles Excellent to hear!!!

@jasontuckwell I’ll have to keep an eye out for Danny’s work. You’re right; that was very personal. Also, my wife and I are travelling in the US at the moment and every American we’ve met has asked us about the fire situation… it has received quite a lot of coverage here.

15 Jan 2020

@jasontuckwell That is deeply saddening and fascinating. Thanks for sharing it.
