@maddiepalmer I hadn’t even considered that… yep, now it’s even weirder to look at…

@maddiepalmer That is truly bizarre. Do we assume that the snake is some sort of biblical reference?

@endlessnoodling He speaks with a level of poetry and creativity (if I can put it that way) that other sport commentators don’t quite bring to the table.

@gruber Oh yes the boilerplate is a great example; you’re right. I think it’s great that they keep it in places, just as a subtle nod to the brand’s origin and heritage.

12 Jan 2020

@endlessnoodling Haha I’ve always enjoyed his commentary!

@gruber I noticed the DF link to Adam Engst’s piece on use of the word ‘Macintosh’. I may not be the first to tweet this to you but I recall it’s also in the Finder’s ‘About’ window: ‘The Macintosh Desktop Experience’. Seems Apple still doesn’t mind the word—what do you think?

@buzzdotie Hi! I just took your Simpsons quiz and enjoyed it, however, one of the answers was wrong. You said that Lisa gave Ralph ‘I choo, choo, choose you’, but it should be ‘Let’s bee friends’. Wrong way around… thanks! 🙂

In 2019, I returned to blogging and started podcasting, with my highlight being linked by @gruber. Inspired by the likes of @jsnell and @viticci, in this episode I looked at how my tech use has changed, focusing on #iPadOS and apps like Ferrite and Wavelength (for @microdotblog). twitter.com/LoungeRuminato…

This poster at BIG W perfectly encapsulates two grammatical issues in @LoungeRuminator pieces of mine from this year on hyphenation and capitalisation. Advertisers and marketers need to lift their game. feldnotes.com/2019/12/15/thi… t.co/17F7Dz0vf…

@sharped @KateMfD @nathanbottomley I shall add this to the podcast queue for this week! Thank you.

@Chundles @ZacG Haha yes I heard it and thanks for your shout-out! 🙂🙂 I was just amused about how I’ve now succeeded in dragging Natasha into my fandom.
