@Chundles More of an American thing? I agree… I never see Australians doing that.

@ismh Enjoyed your latest episode on @_connectedfm! Your mention of brand communities made me think to send you my research (free on Apple Books) on Apple brand fandom. books.apple.com/au/book/it-jus…

@nicklcoffman Thanks for following, Nick! Nice to meet you (albeit virtually). I see that you’re doing a PhD too… great! What are you looking at specifically? I only started mine this year.

I loved this show and never missed an episode while it was still on TV. Crazy story but awesome production at the time! twitter.com/hotdogsladies/…

@JonathanHaynes An interesting take! I’d argue that it’s all about putting Arcade front and centre, whose icon took the spot where the updates used to be. On the argument ‘if Steve were still here’, here are my thoughts… loungeruminator.net/2019/07/03/app…

@KateMfD @chieftech This sentence concerns me: ‘Maybe someday robots will be so very humanlike that whether you are a robot or a human will not matter so much’.

05 Nov 2019

@abbypoposki A lovely account of your experience in the subject! Narratives and compassion for people’s stories are very important and too often this is forgotten in the workplace. Thankfully we have @KateMfD and @GivernyW to spread this message.

@MediaEcology You may enjoy this short podcast of mine about the Apple Watch (and clocks) from a media ecological perspective, casually citing Postman, Logan and McLuhan. podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/lou…

As a fellow Apple Watch enthusiast, @jsnell, I’d love to know your thoughts on this! 🙂

Listen to the latest episode of my @LoungeRuminator podcast, ‘It’s Complicated’, in which I discuss the ways that #AppleWatch (and clocks in general) alter our behaviour and perception of time. #design #watchOS #mediaecology podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/lou…

@sharped Best pool!

@stroughtonsmith With Apple TV Channels also in the mix, perhaps the idea is that consumers will begin to view this extra content as all integrated and aligned within the TV app, so that even without a back catalogue, there is extra perceived value and lock-in to Apple TV+.

@LanceStrate Thanks for the ‘virtual coffee’ over FaceTime today to discuss media ecology. As I mentioned, I was made aware of the field and encouraged to investigate it for my thesis by my supervisors @KateMfD and @CL_Moore—two great mentors from the University of Wollongong.
