@gruber @DialogPodcast @daringfireball Also, your collective discussion about ‘About’ boxes really resonated with me. I wrote about this topic recently. loungeruminator.net/2019/05/28/mac…

@gruber Your guest appearance on @DialogPodcast was really enjoyable and it was great to hear about the history of @daringfireball. The first site that I check each morning! 🖥

@_davenott Excellent tip!!!

@GR36 I follow even fewer and love the focus that I have in my feed! It’s great to reach the end and leave the app knowing that I’ve read everything.

@hobiehenning Ah, I see what you mean. I don’t think that’s anything that you’ve done; I think that it’s the way that AirPlay 2 works whenever the Apple TV goes to sleep. Perhaps it will change with the new control centre on tvOS, but we’ll see.

15 Jun 2019

@hobiehenning That’s great! 😀👍🏽 Sorry if I’ve misunderstood you, but have you tried to direct your Apple TV’s audio to it by holding the play/pause button your remote, then selecting it for AirPlay 2?

Well done on a fantastic @Twitterrific update, @Iconfactory! SF Rounded and the Parakeet theme have made me fall in love with the app again. Without this app, I’m not sure that I would stick with @Twitter. The options for customisation and no ads are just great.

@macgenie @manton @burk Cool shirts!

Yes, this is perplexing. t.co/iaeyoPpcj2

@imyke @jsnell @wileyhodges @joshshaffer Your collective excitement for iPadOS is infectious. With the recent changes to accessibility and file access, it really feels like the system is reaching its potential.

11 Jun 2019

@siracusa That is an impressive piece of investigation (also hilarious on Apple’s part).

Here’s one for the future: ‘Apple is doomed without Tim Cook’. @siracusa @marcoarment @caseyliss twitter.com/LoungeRuminato…

This sums up @microdotblog really well. twitter.com/Yorrike/status…

@stratechery @benthompson This is an awesome piece, particularly the bit about the iPhone slump possibly being the best thing that could have happened. In a similar vein to your long-term piece, I wrote about how last week’s event shows the dispelling of certain Apple myths. loungeruminator.net/2019/06/10/cha…

10 Jun 2019

@lukas2148 @davbeck @marcoarment I think that Apple has really proved recently that it can adhere to old ‘Jobsian’ values and style whilst in the newer Tim Cook era. Much has changed in tech and so have they. I tried to outline this in the following piece about last week’s conference. loungeruminator.net/2019/06/10/cha…

10 Jun 2019

@macfixer Thank goodness that Apple puts such tools in place. Others obviously have no interest in respecting privacy whatsoever.

10 Jun 2019

@isaactdotco I agree—they are listening well! If you liked that piece, check this out. I had good fun writing it. :) loungeruminator.net/2019/06/10/cha…

10 Jun 2019

@jackbrewster @siracusa I’d buy it.

10 Jun 2019

@macfixer You’re kidding. Ridiculous!

10 Jun 2019

@Yorrike Very cool idea

10 Jun 2019

@stroughtonsmith Great list and thanks for sharing it! A lot that I certainly didn’t know. To me, WWDC 2019 was so monumental that it dispelled three key myths about the company. loungeruminator.net/2019/06/10/cha…

10 Jun 2019

@gruber Super-glad that you enjoyed my earlier piece ‘Apple and the Craftsmen’. If you have the time, I thought that you would also find my take on Apple’s WWDC 2019 keynote interesting. Thanks! 😄 twitter.com/LoungeRuminato…

@gruber @siracusa I thought exactly the same thing when I watched this. John thinks different.
