@mattcassinelli At one point, Chris Martin says that he’ll buy everyone ice-cream. Big promise

@mattcassinelli ‘Live 2003’ by Coldplay is great.

Great idea for a show and it will be interesting to see where this goes after WWDC this year… twitter.com/RelayFM/status…

@siracusa Your discussion about Apple News links on @atpfm really convinced me that we should be wary of the app, but the royal baby pushed me over the edge. twitter.com/martinfeld/sta…

One of the strengths of #AppleNews is supposed to be the human curation of its ‘Spotlight’ section. I’m not entirely convinced of this now. #LoungeRuminator loungeruminator.net/2019/05/14/the…

@mattcassinelli Yep! Siri Shortcuts with Overcast on HomePod

07 May 2019

@marcoarment The Germans won’t be happy to see this.

07 May 2019

@marcoarment This doesn’t quite fit Apple’s philosophy of ‘a thousand “no"s for every “yes”’.

@ben_hr As in, if a customer invests in a more expensive set of wireless earbuds, I’d argue that they would be more motivated to recycle for cash back or just because they’re at the store anyway. Included earphones just collect in drawers because they were of no cost to the consumer.

07 May 2019

@ben_hr Interesting article! From conversations that I’ve had with others who recently upgraded, they said that they were taking old ones back to Apple for recycling. This seems to be the issue here. I’d argue that free, wired earphones (in the box) from such companies are even worse.

@KateMfD @jasmynconnell @angusVEVO @GivernyW I say this because most employers don’t care; it’s something that you do for yourself and to further your own learning. I was fortunate to find an employer who did value it, however they were German. Generalisation is risky but they do tend to value further education more.

06 May 2019

@KateMfD @jasmynconnell @angusVEVO @GivernyW I thoroughly enjoyed it! Honours gave me independent research skills and it was great to delve into my own topic. Do it because you have a strong interest in something or want to pursue research, not to impress employers.

@ben_hr One of Apple’s greatest creations, without a doubt… I could never go back.

When will #Apple take #macOS to 11? With rumours of Marzipan, Shortcuts and the splitting-up of iTunes, I reckon that 2019 is the best time. loungeruminator.net/2019/04/26/mac… @viticci @ismh @imyke

@gruber It shows how they were masters of storytelling, using only sounds and basic expressions to portray a character. I’ve always felt the same about Gromit from ‘Wallace and Gromit’. He communicates purely through his eyebrows, without speech. Amazing.
