@macfixer Cool… you don’t want to end up with a nasty case of Mean World Syndrome! :)

03 May 2019

@macfixer That is pretty intense. Do you generally find a lot of value in Apple News notifications? I recently moved my news consumption to Reeder 4 (with Inoreader as a service) and I’m enjoying it quite a bit.

@macfixer A legend!

@ben_hr My father has often called certain heavy wines ‘unctuous, oily mothers of things’.

@thetruthuntold Oh wow, yes you need to start at the very bottom there!

@LinusTech The design of the icons for desktop use is nice, however the previous ones for iOS were better, as they filled the icons completely with colour. The new ones just transplant the graphics onto a white background. The last thing that iOS needs is more icons with white backgrounds. t.co/nGc4k6U5V…

@512px To me, this is all enough for macOS to move beyond version 10: loungeruminator.net/2019/04/26/mac…

@rickygervais Are you as annoyed by bibles in hotel rooms as I am? I had some thoughts to share that you may enjoy in ‘Rumination No. 35: Hotel Literature’ on Lounge Ruminator. 🙂 loungeruminator.net/2019/05/01/rum…

I could not agree more with what @marcoarment had to say about big podcasts on the latest episode of @atpfm. People suggest shows to me every so often and they always feel scripted and overproduced. I want to hear genuine conversation. #podcasting @OvercastFM t.co/ry0HNthkT…

@thetruthuntold Ergh yes! Let alone working out how to number them all below the line, if that’s your thing…

01 May 2019

@thetruthuntold You said it! It’s hard to know who to trust and who is actually competent after years of leadership issues and fluffing around. No one is convincing.

@tuckerjj Hahaha love it! Excellent point about Monopoly and their reaction was great. 😂👍🏽

@seangrieve @marcoarment @thetalkshow @gruber @jsnell I seriously wanted to show someone this moment once and couldn’t find it again, so thank you! Haha

@KateMfD @thespecsofMia @RebeccaNhi Super-clear, thank you! There needs to be a purpose.

27 Apr 2019

@dmoren Great piece! I’m inclined to agree with you, particularly if macOS were made to be more touch-friendly. I think that it’s even time for Apple to take things further when it comes to macOS branding, which I expanded on here: loungeruminator.net/2019/04/26/mac…

@mattcassinelli @AppleMusic Ah interesting! I didn’t notice the lateness; thanks for pointing that out. 🙂 Well the fact that you would like such notifications proves that Apple’s delivery of notifications should be even more customisable for users. I’m certainly not against promotion if people want it!

26 Apr 2019

Shortcuts specialist @mattcassinelli recently wrote a great piece on spammy Apple News notifications. As much as I love the service, I think that @AppleMusic notifications could use some work too. @mattcassinelli Awesome review of the app! I downloaded it this morning and have been enjoying it thoroughly. The bionic reading feature is indeed interesting.
