@mattcassinelli Have you tried Micro.blog instead? I still use Twitter but have made the microblogging site my main feed for following people of similar interests. It’s a much calmer, more genuine place for discussion.

If you’re an #Apple fan, check out my free ebook on @AppleBooks called ‘It Just Works’. You may find yourself in there. :) #macOS #iOS #iPhone #fandom #mediastudies itunes.apple.com/au/book/it-jus…
@thetruthuntold I hope that you’ll enjoy it!
@lkahney Hi, Leander! I loved your book on Ive and noticed recently that you have an update for ‘The Cult of Mac’ out soon. I thought you may be interested in checking out my text ‘It Just Works’ on Apple Books. It’s a thesis / free ebook on Apple fandom: itunes.apple.com/au/book/it-jus…

@jdalrymple Awesome! It’s important to have that escape away from a screen.
@jdalrymple What did you play? :)

@thetruthuntold I’m not sure if you use Siri or if you’re on Android instead, however I get a lot of joy out of having my Siri being an Irishman. Everything sounds so jolly and polite.
@thetruthuntold You mean there’s actually someone called ‘Siri’ back there?! Haha
@pschiller It’s great to see Microsoft join the store but like others have said, Apple’s iWork suite is way more elegant and enjoyable to use.
@thetruthuntold Yeah you have to get on top of those algorithms! I don’t have that much experience with Spotify, however whilst Apple Music tends to be pretty good at recommendations I also make sure to squash any rubbish songs instantly by saying: ‘Siri, I don’t like this’.
@thetruthuntold I haven’t listened to it but having heard their rendition of ‘Africa’, I’m not optimistic. That’s a song that shouldn’t be covered… :)
@DancesInUndies @DetroitBORG Everything old is new again! I agree that it would be a great time for it.
@TheAppleCircle Social media networks love moral panic. :)
@EarningsCallGuy @Dattypeg @reneritchie Now that’s dedication to earnings calls! Thanks for the link. :)

@marcoarment @tiffanyarment Given Casey’s recent discovery of macadamias on @atpfm, you should look at trying macadamia ‘milk’ in the future too. It’s not that bad.
@reneritchie Given how calm he is normally, this kind of comment reallly stings when he decides to make it. It reminds me of the answer about investment of renewable energy in an earlier call.
@gruber Hi! Back in 2013 I wrote a thesis on what it means to be an Apple fan. In light of fan (and anti-fan) hype around the earnings call and FaceTime bug, I thought you’d be interested. It’s also funny to see what’s changed! :) It’s free on Apple Books: itunes.apple.com/au/book/it-jus…
@reneritchie @mikahsargent All of this craziness around Apple’s earnings call is a great example of fan (and anti-fan) behaviour, which I detailed back in 2013 in an honours thesis. Check it out free on Apple Books, if you’re interested. (BTW, you feature on pages 71 and 72). itunes.apple.com/au/book/it-jus…
@katemfd Thank you as well for all of your guidance at the time. :) I thought it was a waste to keep it sitting on a drive.
@DetroitBORG It is amazing and I’ll always love that smaller form factor. If you’d like to reminisce about how much other things have changed, check this out from 2013. itunes.apple.com/au/book/it-jus…
@ismh Hi there! This thesis ebook from 2013 may or may not be of interest to you. Have a nice day. :) itunes.apple.com/au/book/it-jus…
